2 Cor 3:1-18
‘Now the lord is the Spirit, and where the spirit of the lord is, there is liberty ”
Where Christ is, there is freedom, there is direct access to God. Unlike Moses, who covers his face with veil. No wonder, the Pharisees and Sadducees were sanctimonious, religious, dogged, dogmatic set of people. Never wanting the new convenant. They held on to that faded glory that Moses brought. Oh! If only they could allow themselves a taste of this ‘Amazing Grace ‘.
‘He was full of grace and truth,….and out of his fullness have we all received, and grace for grace’. Liberty is all we need This grace is so glorious, and it is contagious. ‘But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Cor 3:18.
God is so sweet, we don’t have to live our lives like miserable and hopeless people. Jesus wasn’t like that. People could see his glory, and they testified (John 1:14). Let’s allow the spirit of the lord and the liberty around him transform our life and make a meaning out of it, so that we can affect other people’s life as well. Salt and Light are two things Jesus liken us to be when he was here physically. These two things are contagious. We are to be a contagious Christian everywhere we go
